Catching Up
Tuesday, April 13th, 2004Its been a while since I last updated the site. I have been very busy over the last couple of weeks. Our boat Mystere had the final maintenance completed and she was put back into the Marina. After 5 solid days of working on board… she was ready for a test. We headed off to Jersey for a couple of days then headed back. It was a nice trip involving tourist activities and a great game of crazy golf!! Dave also bought a night vision scope… very cool toy!! A log of the trip is being written so I will link to it and the pictures when they are uploaded. My family can expect an email soon as I have decided that an email to all my relatives in England is a good idea… I just hope you don’t all start deleting it like Spam!!!

She is currently out of the water while we complete a major refit. We hope that she will be back in the water within a week or two from now. Helen took a great shot of me on the bow yesterday… I am smiling as I had just thrown something at her!!!
Beached In Herm
Sunday, September 28th, 2003
After the night in Herm the crew of Mystere prepare for the voyage back home to Guernsey. High tide was at 08:52 (9.8m) so by about 10:00 water levels are getting a little low! However, everything is ready for the homeward journey, engine is warmed up, ropes uncoiled, sails ready to be hoisted as soon as Mystere is clear of the harbour, all that needs to be done is pulling the anchor…

Mystere Yacht Syndicate
Friday, September 12th, 2003That’s it then! The ‘Mystere Yacht Syndicate’ has been born and the sailing vessel Mystere has been signed over to its new owners. If it were not for my voyage to the Southampton Boat show this weekend, I would strive to get some pictures online. Instead you will have to wait. Keep an eye on the gallery.
